Day time Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting

A mechanical trap launches clays at various speeds and different angles into the air. During Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting 5 delegates are able to shoot simultaneously with modified over and under 12 bore shotguns which have been modified to fire laser beams at the clays in a environmentally safe and perfectly client safe environment. There is no "kick" or recoil but computer controlled sounds contribute to the realism of the original Shotgun Pigeon Shooting.

Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting throws only one clay at a time, five people shooting and each person has two shots with the modified shotguns. A computer then determines within one thousandth of a second the order of witch gun hit the clay first, second, third, fourth and fifth. An indicator on the shotgun also gives instant feedback to the player so they know if they hit the clay or if they have missed! This makes Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting a competitive participant and Spectators activity. During Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting spectators are able to follow the progress on the electronic scoreboard and build the team spirit.

Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting at Night in Parys

The automatic clay pigeon launcher charges the luminous clays before launching them, creating a bright green luminous path across the night sky. Flash attachments are fitted to the guns and each time a laser clay pigeon is hit both the clay and the gun will flash.

In each round of Laser clay pigeon shooting up to 5 people can shoot at the same targets launched from a number of different positions at various speeds and angles. There are several games, some of which are easier than others. At the end of the competition the players who have scored the most points are the winners.

Different games can be played during Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting

• The skill of a sniper: Each person that hits the clay gets two points for the first hit and one point for the second.
• Wild Wild West: The first person to hit the clay gets ten points, the second gets nine, the third get eight points etc. It is possible for a person to be first and second to hit the clay and they would then score nineteen points.
• The Shootout: Only the first person to hit the clay scores full points.

Proposed Programme for your Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting event

• Safety briefing and introduction with a physical demonstration by a registered and qualified guide/ facilitator.
• Practice makes perfect during the next session: Five participants at a time play five games of "Skill of a sniper". Each delegates score are recorded. Once everyone has had a chance to practice, we then use the recorded data to form all the teams. This insures that you have balanced teams participating against each other.
• Wild Wild West team challenge: These teams then compete against each other, with each person shooting a couple of rounds of "Skill of a Sniper", Wild Wild West" and"The Shootout". The scores are then added up for a team total. The winning team will be the team with the highest score. The "Wild Wild West" can be repeated to suit the groups needs
• Last man standing: After the "Wild Wild West" we can then run the dreaded "Last Man Standing" competition. Five participants compete in "qualifying rounds" of a chosen game and at the end of each game the lowest scoring delegate drops out. When there is only one person left this person moves through to the final. We repeat this process until all the participants have had a chance to qualify for the final. The winner of this event would be the overall winner.

How do I book?

To book your activities you need to fill in a request a quote - either give us a call or send us an email with details of the activities you would like to do, what date(s) you want to come and approximately how many people there will be. We will then let you know what activities we have available.

Once you have requested availability and know what you want to do, you will need to pay a 50% non - refundable deposit to secure your booking. This can be paid by internet banking. Once we have received your deposit we will send you a confirmation letter, directions, an invoice for the deposit and a pro - forma invoice for the balance. If you have any queries when you receive your booking confirmation please do not hesitate to contact us.

10 days before your activity date you will need to pay the balance. If we have not received the balance within 10 days of the activity date we will give you a call to remind you.

Can I change the date?

Unfortunately, as the deposit and balance are non - transferrable, any change in date or activities will mean that you will lose the deposit or balance if this has been paid.

What if numbers drop before I have paid the balance?

Unfortunately the deposit is non refundable, so if people drop out, you will lose their deposits. For example, if you have paid a deposit for 10 people and 2 drop out, you will lose the 2 deposit paid for those people who have dropped out. You will need to pay the balance for the 8 people who are still coming. It is important to note the minimum group size for activities as we will not be able to run an activity if you do not have the minimum number (unless there is another group booked onto your activity session). If your numbers drop to below the minimum group size required, you will have to pay the balance for the minimum number for the session to still run.

Can I get a refund if some of the group don't turn up?

We do not give refunds if any members of the group do not turn up. If someone is unable to come, we usually advise the group organizer to try and get another delegate to fill their place (provided they have time to do this).

How do I get there?

When you have paid the deposit we will send you directions, a booking confirmation and your receipted deposit invoice and a proforma invoice for the balance either by post or email. The activity venue may not be at Mythe Farm (our office address), although many of our activities do take place here. Please read your booking confirmation carefully as it will contain the address(es) and directions for the activity(ies) you have booked.

What are the age / height / weight restrictions?

Each activity has different restrictions which are detailed on the activity pages on this website. Please click on each individual activity for details of restrictions. It is important that the person booking the activities is aware of the restrictions and makes sure that everyone in the group complies, as refunds cannot be given if someone does not comply with a restriction on the day. But for Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting there are no restrictions.

Can I get food?

Snacks are available at many of the activity venues (chocolate bars, crisps, drinks etc). If you would like to have a more substantial meal this must be booked in advance - please enquire when you check availability and we will send you a menu. Food should be ordered when you pay the deposit for activities, but may be ordered later provided that there is sufficient time for the caterer to arrange it.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, casual clothing which you don't mind potentially getting a bit muddy. Wear either sturdy trainers or boots, no open - toed shores, high heels or sandals! Footwear may get muddy so it is a good idea to bring a spare pair of footwear to go home in. Long hair should be tied back and scarves should be tucked into jackets so as not to cause a hazard. All safety equipment is provided.

What if it rains?

Our activities run whether rain or shine! We recommend wearing warm outdoor clothing if the weather looks poor.
